Have you heard of the girl statue of peace?

The girl statue of peace or the Comfort Women statue is an art sculpture to honor victims of the Japanese military comfort women and to establish a correct historical awareness. It is also called the Peace Monument. The shape of the top is typical of sitting and standing on a chair.

On December 14, 2011, 20 years after the demand demonstration began in 1992, the Korean Psychiatric Problem to pray for the restoration of the honor and human rights of the comfort women victims of the street struggle in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, requesting the resolution of the Japanese comfort women issue. Artist Kim Seo-Kyung produced a miniature based on the fact that the victims of comfort women were now grandmothers, but were often girls when they were being dragged. Afterward, the artist Kim Seo-Kyung and Kim Un-sung decided on the current peace ratio and produced bronze statues through several consultations with Jeong Dae-hyup.

The Peace Monument is 130cm in height, wearing a skirt jersey, a girl with short hair and hands clasped, sitting on a chair and staring at the Japanese embassy. In particular, a small chair was placed next to the Peace Monument, and an experience space was prepared to reconsider the Japanese comfort women issue with the girl. On the cover sheet, along with the phrase written by Grandmother Gil Won-ok, a victim of the comfort women, she wrote that the Peace Monument will be set up to continue the sublime spirit and history of the demand demonstration held in front of the Japanese Embassy since 1992.
